DoubleTree by Hilton Youngstown Downtown

Lovely hotel located in a beautiful historic department store in the downtown area. Easy side parking & in/out privileges. Wide hallways and nice size room and bathroom. Newer feel and clean. Cookies at the front desk! Easy walking distance to some food & drink choices, let alone a very nice looking bar & restaurant at the hotel. Helpful and cheerful staff. Why stay on the interstate when there is this very nice hotel downtown. Nicely down Hilton!

We were thoroughly disappointed by our stay and expected a significantly higher standard from a hotel of this caliber. When we checked in, we were placed in an accessible room that smelled strongly of dog. After requesting a room change, the receptionist confirmed that the previous guest had a service dog and admitted the room should have been deep cleaned, which it clearly was not. To make matters worse, the towels were haphazardly dumped instead of properly folded, and several standard complementary items were missing entirely (which we only realized once we saw the second room). Unfortunately, the second room was not much cleaner. While travelling with our 2-year-old child, our toddler found leftover makeup items from previous guests on the floor, which is both unhygienic and unsafe. Overall, the service was consistently rude and unhelpful, with only two exceptions: the employee who assisted us with moving our luggage from one room to another, and one of the late-night receptionist who appeared genuinely sorry for the unacceptable condition of our initial room. They were the only staff members who demonstrated any level of professionalism. Given the reputation and price point of

We picked this location as it was on our route home from a family visit in Ohio. The hotel is in a beautiful historic building in downtown. Our stay was in a Saturday evening, and the town was very quiet. Our room was impressive, newly remodeled and had a fantastic view of the nearby hills. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast at the restaurant below. On the second floor, there is also a bar with big windows that overlook the city. It is really a charming hotel and we would stay again.

Always enjoy my stay. Centrally located. Good dinning and beveragea at the property. Plenty of secured parking. And the room are superb cpmfortable beds, great tvs tall ceiling and wonderful full size windows. Nothing better downtown in my opinion. And the staff top notch. The ladies at check in are amazing!!!
